Char & Chew is a Vancouver-based food and lifestyle blog that introduces and connects businesses with both locals and interntional visitors. There is a strong emphasis in supporting local, small businesses to provide growth within the community. When I am invited for media tastings, I may give a more in-depth review on my blog, which highlight these events further.
The project was meant to explore WordPress and web hosting to produce a companion site to my main Instagram feed: @pictureworkmemory. In addition, you can find a few of my related, freelance articles on Hidden Gems Vancouver.
All of the photographs and content is self-produced. I shoot mainly with my Nikon D5000, Fujifilm X100T, and OnePlus 5T cameras, and I edit my photos using Affinity Photo and Adobe Photoshop. The website, itself, is hosted on SiteGround, and I use WordPress as my content management system (CMS).
